1. Who We Are
The Shelter Personal Training Studio is owned and operated by Coby Allen. We are based in Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.

By purchasing a membership or using our services, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Our Memberships
We offer three monthly membership tiers:
Foundation: Two small group PT sessions per week. Maximum four members per session. £129 per calendar month.
Hybrid: Two small group PT sessions per week plus one 1-to-1 personal training session per month. £189 per calendar month.
Private: Two 1-to-1 personal training sessions per week. £329 per calendar month.
All memberships are on a rolling monthly basis. There is no long-term contract.
3. Payments
Membership fees are collected via direct debit, taken on either the 1st or the 15th of each month depending on when you join.
When you set up your membership, a pro rata card payment will be taken to cover the period between your start date and your first direct debit date. For example, if you join on the 17th of the month, you will pay by card for the period from the 17th through to the 1st, where your first direct debit will then be taken. From that point, all payments are collected by direct debit on your assigned date each month.
There is no contract. You are free to cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. See section 4 for full cancellation details.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again within 3 days. If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, your membership may be paused or cancelled.
We reserve the right to update pricing with at least 30 days written notice.
4. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your membership at any time by giving 30 days written notice. Notice must be submitted by emailing theshelter@cobyallentraining.co.uk or through the ClubRight app.
Your membership will remain active for the full 30-day notice period. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of that period.
5. Session Booking and Credits
Sessions must be booked in advance through ClubRight. Spaces are not guaranteed without a booking.
Each membership includes session credits, whether that is credits for 1-to-1 personal training or small group personal training sessions.
If you need to cancel a booked session, you must do so more than 24 hours before the session start time. Cancellations made outside the 24-hour window will return the credit to your account to use on a different time slot.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session will be counted as used. The credit will not be returned.
6. Freezing Your Membership
If you need to pause your membership temporarily due to injury, illness, or other circumstances, contact us directly to discuss your options. Freeze requests are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
7. Refunds
Monthly membership fees are non-refundable once charged. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions or sessions you chose not to attend.
If a session is cancelled by us and cannot be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe, we will credit your account or offer an alternative arrangement.
8. Under 16s
Members under the age of 16 are welcome at The Shelter. However, small group personal training is not available for anyone aged 16 or under. Under 16s must train on a 1-to-1 basis only.
A parent or guardian must consent to membership on behalf of any member under the age of 16.
9. Health and Safety
You are responsible for informing us of any injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations before training begins. We will ask you to complete a health questionnaire (PAR-Q) before your first session.
If your health changes at any point during your membership, let us know before your next session.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask a member to stop training if we believe it poses a risk to their health or the safety of others.
Our public liability insurance is provided by AXA Insurance. All sessions are supervised by first aid trained staff.
10. Recording and Social Media
We film sessions at The Shelter for use on our social media channels and marketing materials. This includes video and photography of sessions in progress.
By signing up to a membership, you are opted in to potentially appearing in this content by default.
We will always ask everyone present before recording begins. But if you do not want to appear in any content, you need to tell us explicitly in writing. You can do this at any point by emailing theshelter@cobyallentraining.co.uk or messaging us directly. Simply not objecting in the moment is not enough. You need to opt out properly.
Once we receive your opt-out request, we will make sure you are not included in any future recordings.
For members under the age of 18, we will request written parental or guardian consent before using any footage of them on social media or in any marketing materials. We will not publish content featuring anyone under 18 without that consent in place.
11. Behaviour
We have a zero-tolerance policy for behaviour that makes other members feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or unsafe. This includes verbal abuse, harassment, or any discriminatory behaviour.
Anyone found to be in breach of this will have their membership cancelled immediately without refund.
12. Liability
You train at your own risk. The Shelter Personal Training Studio and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damage that occurs during sessions, except where caused by our negligence.
We strongly recommend you have appropriate personal health insurance if you have any pre-existing conditions.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes with at least 14 days notice via email or through ClubRight.
Continued use of your membership after the effective date of any changes means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
